March Stamp Camp

I had my March Stamp Camp last weekend. We made these 4 cards and a bunny box that holds candy. I didn't post a picture of the bunny box as it is the same as the one I posted last year.

The first card is a CASED card from our demonstrator website. Isn't the owl punch dressed up as a nurse just the cutest? Hopefully it will put a smile on the sick recipient's face.

Here is a another CASED card using the build a cupcake punch and stamp set. My stamping on the words is not the best, but the card is beautiful just the same. When making the "banners" at the bottom I used the small square punch to punch out the triangle. It worked perfectly.

I like the simplicity of the next card. I used the blossoms and bird die cuts and then used the new stripes folder to add texture to the black paper.

This last card is a generic card with no saying inside. I have seen this layout used a lot on cards and I like it. Just enough going on to make the card interesting. I can see myself making another card with this layout in the future.

Stay tuned for the dates for my next stamp camp in April. It will probably be later in the month due to the Easter holiday and a baby shower I am hosting.

Have a blessed week!

BreAnna's Baby Shower Invites

I just love making cards, and if you helped me make these cards you would think I was crazy! I had all the paper precut, but all the die cuts needed run though the Big Shot, punches needed punched, sponging needed done etc. The kicker is we made 50 cards! I had myself and 4 others working with me for 8 hours. We ended up finishing 25 cards that day. But, and this is a big BUT, the outcome was well worth the effort. These are the most adorable cards!

I originally saw this card on a fellow demonstrator's website and I asked her if I could CASE (copy) her card. If you want to see her original card it is here.

The above picture is of all the "monkey parts" waiting to be assembled into a card.

Here is a photo of the first 25. It is funny to look at them all, each monkey has a slightly different attitude based on head orientation and eyes.

This is BreAnna and her momma Rhonda. We did have a fun time making the cards. One girls husband said after she had been here several hours already, "Those better be the best @#$@ cards ever!" Well to be honest they are!

Thanks Rochelle for the inspiration!

Have a blessed week.

I'm still here!

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season. I had a good holiday also, sprinkled with work, vacation and a cold I have been fighting since the week of Christmas. I finally went to the doctor this week and got antibiotics. I figured since I have a 3 day weekend this weekend, I would try an catch up on my blog, get my next stamp camp scheduled and try and put my Christmas tree and decorations away. We'll see, that seems ambitious since I have 1 day left. Christmas tree and decorations can wait! :)

I have some pictures of some of the cards from my November Versatility Stamp Camp to show you. All the cards were made with the Stitched Stocking Stamp set and the Stocking Builder Punch, but only 1 card is a Christmas card!

I also had a free stamp camp in Decemeber where we made 2 gift card holders. I only have 1 photographed, but it is really cool. It is a pop up gift card holder!

I am looking forward to seeing you all at my 2012 stamp camps. My first stamp camp will be February 18th from 2-5pm. We will be making a stash of birthday cards to start the year.

Have a great night!
