CR84FN Color Challenge

I didn't make any New Year's resolutions, but updating my blog more often and participating in more challenges are two things I would like to do this year. So today I created a submission for the CR84FN Color Challenge using yellow, peach and light pink.

This is my attempt at a vintage looking Valentine. I found this heart lace in a box up in my loft as I was cleaning up there this past week. My mom passed away a year ago and I finally got the nerve to clean out a lot of the items she used for crafting but I didn't. Anyways, the lace was a nice surprise and I immediately knew I would be using it this Valentine's Day. The card base is Crumb Cake and I sponged Crumb Cake on the different layers also to add a vintage look. The stamp set is the two step stamping set called Botanical Blossoms. The sentiment and Paris stamp stamped over the flower images are stamps my mom had. Lastly I placed a Vintage Brad in the corner.

I like the way this card turned out. I tend to CASE alot and it is nice to actually create something on my own.

Have a great night!
Diane
